Google Contacts 2.0 Update: Now Available With More User-friendly Design & Minor UI Tweaks

Google Contact

Google has recently released the new and furnished version of the Google Contact app that is the new Google Contacts 2.0. Previously, in 2016, Google launched the last major update of Google contacts. But now with the launch of Android Nougat's successor Android "O", Google rolled out the new refreshed look of Google Contacts 2.0 with new design enhancements.
According to Phone Arena, it's being circulated that the new Google Contacts 2.0 is all about classy design. Google has designed the app in a more user-friendly way along with the presence of minor UI tweaks. It's reported that Google's regular contact list has not got any changes. One of the most important changes is the slide-out menu along with the toggle which allows users to switch between accounts. The toggle helps users to customize which contacts they want to have in their Google Contacts 2.0 app.
There is also the new "Move" item, included in the Google Contacts 2.0 app, which helps users to move or export contacts to another account. It's surveyed that the Google Contacts 2.0 version includes an Account Switcher icon with a navigation drawer in it. This hamburger switcher icon will let users switch between contacts from different accounts and also makes it easy to handle, view, sort, and delete.
According to Wccftech, the most interesting and salient feature of Google Contacts 2.0 is the redesign of the individual contact page. Previously the contact's image used to cover half of the information page, which has come now within a small circular frame with the contact's name appears under it. Also, in the new version Google Contacts 2.0, the order of the information is redesigned in a new way appearing the number at first and then the email addresses. With this new move, users have to scroll less after opening the contact page. It's also comprised that the color scheme of Google Contacts 2.0 has got some serious color changes.
Naturally, Google has redesigned the Google Contacts 2.0 app to make it supportable with the new Android "O" version. So, probably, in the upcoming Google I/O event, people will get more specifics about the new Google Contacts 2.0. The new version will be available to download for Pixel and Nexus users via the Google Play Store.
