Project Scorpio is the true successor of the Xbox One and will be the most powerful console ever created. At E3, 2016 the company Microsoft Xbox announced the self-proclaimed monster console Project Scorpio is on the way and it will launch in the holiday season of 2017. But at the time of launch, it will need the presence of a rival killer app- Destiny.

According to IGN, Xbox Scorpio will be a high-end model with upgraded hardcore and it's claimed to be the most powerful console ever made. Featuring an eight-core APU with 320GB per second memory bandwidth, Xbox Scorpio's hardware is meant to be compatible with 4K gameplay. Existing all the Xbox One games will experience performance improvements and will be supported by Scorpio console. According to Xbox head Phil Spencer, at the launch time, Scorpio will need a killer app Destiny to increase the game's resolution dynamically.
Any hardcore Destiny player will be aware of the collaboration of the Destiny community and mechanics involved in its raids. So why does the Project Scorpio need Destiny? The answer is hidden behind the Xbox Scorpio's 4K resolution of 60fps. The biggest complaint players have pulled is the lack of 60fps clarity in the current generation, while Destiny offers some of the best gunplay and it happens to be very smooth, for shooters, it's like heaven.
According to Forbes, the rival killer app for Xbox Scorpio will neither be Crackdown 3 nor the Sea of Thieves. It won't be Halo or Gears of War. Microsoft's need for a new shooter app will be ranged from quite good to mediocre. So Titan fall, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, Dead Rising type killer apps are kept away from reaching the higher exclusivity of Xbox Scorpio, while Destiny has full filled the demand.
Xbox's chosen rival app Destiny is modern, innovative, fast, and especially smooth shooter which really captivates the players. Destiny plays on the strength of online multiplayer. Unlike Halo, Destiny's mechanism lets us play with multiplayer and blurs the linear campaign line.
Bungie's first new developed console franchise Destiny is an online-only multiplayer first-person shooter video game. It's unique, adventurous, exciting and also addictive. Though Microsoft Xbox should not imitate Destiny's design exactly, but they should create their own franchise which can be as popular as destiny and does the same or better job than Destiny does. The new franchise should have the potentiality of mind, and mainly its main focus should be on gameplay and inputs rather than visuals.
The Destiny rival app is the amazing experience which includes teamwork, gun skills, and smooth gun-shooting facilities. So this could be a big triumph for Microsoft Xbox Scorpio. As the competition at the zenith point and everyone demand the best of the best, Microsoft is pouring all the excellence in the Project Scorpio, but it's just the beginning.
